This section is to give a little background about me, including the odd media appearance, articles, blogs I’ve written etc. It’s an interesting – and somewhat worrying – exercise to do a Google search and see how often one appears. It’s all to keep my publisher happy!
The Late Late Show
7th March 2020: Well when it gets to media and publicity it doesn’t really get bigger than The Late Late Show! Helen and I were invited to appear by the host, Ryan Tubridy, following our interview on his radio show in 2019 when we had a very entertaining 25 minutes talking about Star Trek, our relationship and my transition. It was actually our second time being on The Late Late, our first, when I looked a lot different, was in 1990 – but that was only a minute from the audience, talking to William Shatner and that icon of Irish Television, Gay Byrne!
